Good news everyone!
The judges for the Mary Boyd Prize for the best article in New Zealand History published between 2 April 2013 and 1 April 2015, Emeritus Professor Margaret Tennant, Massey University and Professor Tony Ballantyne, University of Otago, have awarded Dr Felicity Barnes, University of Auckland, the prize for her article ‘Pictorialism, Photography and Colonial Culture, 1880-1940,’ New Zealand Journal of History, 47, 2 (2013): 136–56.
Dr Jane McCabe, University of Otago, was awarded the ‘runner up’ position for ‘Anglo-Indian Immigration to New Zealand, 1920–1940,’ New Zealand Journal of History, 48, 2 (2014): 27–49.
