…. trying to track down the descendants of Captain Francis R. Webb. He was the American Consulate of Zanzibar in 1871 when H.M. Stanley arrived to look for Dr. Livingstone. A few years later, he became the American Consulate for New Zealand. I have lost his trail here. Any information regarding Capt. Webb and his family would be greatly appreciated!
