The NZHA Executive calls for nominations for the following three prizes, each of which will be awarded at the NZHA Conference Dinner on 25 November 2021:
- The W.H. Oliver Prize – For the best book on any aspect of New Zealand history
- The Erik Olssen Prize – For the best first book by an author on any aspect of New Zealand history
- The Mary Boyd Prize – For the best article on any aspect of New Zealand history published in a refereed journal
Authors can nominate their own publications for consideration or can be nominated by others. To make a nomination, please email the full details of the book or journal article to email@example.com by 30 June 2021.
The Executive also calls for submissions for a fourth prize – the best postgraduate paper presented at the NZHA Conference. To be eligible, postgraduate students should email a complete and fully referenced copy of their conference paper to firstname.lastname@example.org by 1 October 2021.
