The Ministry of Culture and Heritage is currently is seeking an historian to research and write a major print history of A Company of the 28 Māori Battalion in the Second World War. The book is envisaged as a large-format and richly illustrated work of 80,000–100,000 words, designed to appeal to a general audience.
