The NZHA Executive is now based in Otautahi Christchurch and planning is already underway for the 2015 conference.
We are continuing the excellent work of the Otago Executive inpromoting historical study, teaching and research, maintaining and raising the profile of history including recognising achievement through awards, lobbying government, connecting with stakeholder groups and disseminating information to NZHA members.
How you can help. The NZHA website is our public interface. There are sections relating to the NZHA’s ‘Media Expertise List,’ upcoming conferences as well as links to university history programmes, historical organisations and teaching history in secondary schools. Let us know if any changes need to be made. The website can also host information about research projects, books or interviews.
NZHA Membership: 2014 subscriptions are now due, please see form on the NZHA website. Note that there is an option to pay your membership for both 2014 and 2015. And thank you to those who have already paid for this year!
We look forward to receiving your subscriptions and notices,
Nga Mihi,
Katie Pickles
NZHA President 2014-15.
