Indigenous Postgraduate and ECR Wānanga

All Māori, Pacific, and Indigenous kairangahau (researchers) are welcome – the emphasis is on connecting kairangahau in the humanities, creative practices, and arts, but don’t let this stop you from attending if you are in a different discipline

Mangatoatoa pā Kihikihi, Waikato
Cost: $80 unwaged/student; $120 waged (and tamariki are free) 
Kaiwhakahaere (organisers): Sam Iti Prendergast and Marama Salsano

All meals and accommodation (in the wharenui) provided

Children of all ages welcome (and we will have activities to keep them busy) 


Rough programme: 
Friday: pōwhiri, whakawhanaungatanga, time with awa and whenua, “stories to tell in the dark: reading session” 

Saturday: reconnecting to REST and our bodies, raranga, zine-making, and whīkoi options, “what does it mean to strategise,” “rangahau show and tell” 

Sunday: speed brainstorming: collaborations, publications, where to from here, + opportunities to practice presenting for anyone presenting at NZHA
