Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for the 2025 NZHA conference. Acceptance of abstracts has now closed.

The conference organising committee welcomes presentation formats including
- individual papers (20 minutes + 10 minutes discussion)
- panels (3 connected papers)
- roundtable discussions (usually 1.5 hours)
and a wide range of creative and alternative formats (such as walking tours, performances, and hands-on activities).
Please download the relevant presentation proposal template below, then submit it via this Google Form.

Also on the Google Form you will have the opportunity to note if you would like to
- present in te reo Māori
- present in a stream dedicated to teaching history and art history in Aotearoa, or
- if you have any special requirements for your creative/alternate format presentation
We will respond to proposals in batches, after the following deadlines:
