All Postgraduate students and early career researchers are encouraged to attend our day dedicated to postgraduate life and work. The emphasis is on building a community of postgraduate and ECR historians, and fostering connections across different institutions. There will be panels on the PhD process (and how to survive it), career advice and strategies (jobs do exist!), as well as a workshop at Auckland Museum.

Prize for best postgraduate paper presented at the NZHA conference
Postgraduates presenting papers at this year’s conference are eligible for the prize for best postgraduate paper presented at the NZHA conference. This prize is awarded biannually and will be judged based on both how well the student presents as well as the content of their presentation. To be considered for this award please submit a written version of your presentation (which does not have to be polished) to nzhapresident@gmail.com by Tuesday November 18 at 5pm.
