Ako: Learning From History?
Kia hiwa rā! Kia hiwa rā!
The 2021 NZHA Conference will take place from Tuesday 23 November to Friday 26 November 2021. Due to the on-going uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 outbreak, the event will be held entirely online.
The Tuesday will primarily be a Postgraduate Day, focusing on the experience of being a postgraduate and featuring several workshops and mentoring opportunities. The cost of attending the Postgraduate Day is included in your registration fee. The full conference will then open on the Tuesday evening. This will be followed by the Wiremu Maihi Te Rangikaheke Memorial Lecture, which will open the conference, and a full programme of keynotes and panels will take place from Wednesday to Friday.
The Conference Organising Committee now call for papers, panels, or round table discussions that address any aspect of the theme Ako: Learning from History? The rolling deadline for submissions runs from 28 February to 30 June 2021 (extended to 31 July). Please see below for the full Call for Papers
Registrations for the conference are now open. The standard rate is just $30 for the full conference, with a discounted $15 rate for students. As part of your registration, please indicate whether you plan to attend the Postgraduate Day. We strongly encourage all conference attendees to join the NZHA (just $30 for an annual subscription and FREE for students), with this being a requirement for presenters.
