HISTORICAL, THEOLOGICAL AND CONTEMPORARY PERSPECTIVES ON PEACE AND CHRISTIANITY IN NEW ZEALAND

Victoria University of Wellington, 18-20 November 2015

The conference will be hosted at Victoria University of Wellington, but supported by a number of organisations. In 2014, centennial commemorations of the Great War begin; 2015 will have special significance for New Zealanders, in light of the landings at Gallipoli in 1915. We think this is a timely moment for critical appraisal of Christian contributions to peace and peacemaking in New Zealand history.
