Lecturer in NZ History at Vic

The History Programme at Victoria University of Wellington seeks to appoint a Lecturer in New Zealand History, starting 2 July 2012.



The Programme is particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates who are able to set New Zealand history, including Maori history, into the broader frameworks of transnational or comparative history.

The successful applicant will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level (including 100 level), to contribute to the Honours programme, including teaching and marking the Honours research paper, and engage in MA/PhD supervision. The Programme is committed to excellence in research and will only appoint a candidate who has demonstrated very strong research potential. The intended start date for this position is 2 July 2012.
